Bohemian

“My dream is to become a farmer. Just a Bohemian guy pulling up his own sweet potatoes for dinner.”

Lenny Kravitz

Do you sip Jasmine tea while staring out windows and listening to a jazz or fancy yourself as an intellectual?

Did the California Casual style appeal to your but not excite you?

You may be Bohemian.

The key to this style is the fact that its not just the clothes, its the lifestyle. You can’t honestly call yourself bohemian unless you entertain bohemian ideas. And are open to the idea of poetry slams. If you don’t mind projecting that with your clothing.

There is however a happy medium. Because Bohemian is all about the life style the only point of the clothing is to associate yourself with a sort of larger idea and prove that you aren’t like everyone else. This can be achieved with the beatnik idea of wearing all black, or the more hippie way of wearing long sweeping skirts.

Either way, your going to be spending a lot of time disregarding money and judge people based on the merit of their minds. If there’s absolutely no way you could live without working at a place that required an interview in a suit than try your classic suit with a turtleneck and flats.

So perfect, so I-snap-at-poetry-slams in a good non-insane way.

If you've got the money for it, buying a quality pair of black ballet flats with help your wardrobe amounts you never thought possible by a single item.
